Design Examples

Tanya produces hand-drawn designs that are specific and bespoke to each individual garden and client.

Concept plans are produced to give an idea of the garden's layout and style, showing where features, patios, paths and planting are to be located. Key points are outlined and explained to clients with suggestions of materials to be used.

Concept plans are supported with artist's impressions of certain aspects and mood boards of images to give a clearer understanding of how the garden will look or the features to be included. These all form part of a discussion to finalise the overall design.

Master plans include all the information agreed with clients and are used by landscapers to produce quotations of the work involved. They are supported by Setting out plans and Construction details for accurate landscaping of the area.

Following soil assessments and discussions with clients, a plant suggestion list is provided for approval and selection. These both inform the Planting Plan so that appropriate plants are chosen for the client's taste and preferred style, as well as suitability for the soil conditions. Planting Plans are maps of the plant layouts and use circles to indicate the size of plants once established and colours to show the coherence of the planting scheme's foliage and flowers throughout the year. A key is used to keep the drawing uncluttered yet informative.
