Testimonials

I moved to a new house on a new estate with the most boring, least wildlife friendly garden imaginable. It was just grass, a single path and a high wooden fence. I wanted a wildlife friendly garden, especially a pond, and a plan to improve the garden over time as my energy and budget allowed.

Tanya listened carefully to my dreams and helped draw up a plan to encompass what I wanted, a seat near the pond, trees, shrubs, compost bins, a shed, a clothes-drying area and an area to pot up seedlings. That was in mid-March, just before lockdown.

The garden has been transformed, birds, butterflies, dragon and damselflies, plus bats, a family of toads and a couple of frogs have all taken up residence and the garden is full of interest and colour.

Tanya installed the pond and the aquatic plants and has visited twice to help dig and plant the beds but her real skill has been to allow me to do a lot on my own. I have learnt a lot from her. If you are a novice or lack confidence go to Tanya. If you have an amazing garden which needs a re think, go to Tanya. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Although a good size, my garden was rather dull and uninspiring and I didn’t know how to improve it. That was to change when I met Tanya. After an initial assessment of my garden and discussing ideas with me, Tanya completely redesigned it.

The transformation has been amazing, my garden is now full of interest, variety and colour and a haven for bees, I love it.

Tanya takes great pride in her work, has endless knowledge on all things gardening and provides excellent value for money. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

‘Loving my garden transformation’

Tanya has created the perfect garden to compliment our home.

Returning back to our house following a major renovation project, the garden was in grave need of a facelift. From our first meeting with Tanya, we felt totally confident that she understood our brief - more than we did! Tanya designed a modern garden that matched the new house that we had created. Working with just a few ideas from us Tanya drew up a plan incorporating plants to suit our lifestyle, requiring minimal upkeep, and transforming the garden from a traditional - but very overgrown!- style, to a modern yet homely setting. From initial meeting, through design, and planting Tanya provided a first-class service, and the end result speaks for itself.  We couldn’t be happier.

From start to finish, Tanya Willis, did a smashing job for us. The designs were drawn up, as the result of conversations between us, to ensure that she was on the same page as our wishes. Her design was clear, thorough and more interesting than we envisaged. It was sympathetic to local plants, introduced new elements like archways and encouraged wildlife like insects and bees. Tanya's design took attractive aspects of what was present and used them imaginatively for new features, for example, the pebbles on our pathway became the surround for a new pond. All work was carried out efficiently and tidily, at times arranged between the client and herself.  We found Tanya easy to talk to at all times, knowledgeable and practical over her fee.   We thought she was an excellent professional with design and build.

Tanya helped us when we were extending our patio by digging out and potting plants we wanted to save from a border, returning after the patio was done to dig us a new border and replant. We very much appreciated her hard work and her suggestions for where to locate plants and for having a curved border which looks much better than the old one. Would recommend and will definitely use her services again.
